Considered by many drivers around the track
as the best young driver in New York, 16 year old Zack
Morgan isn't taking 2008 lightly. After a disappointing
end to the 2007 season that saw young Morgan in a
comfortable lead heading in to the final weekend at his
best track on the tour (Black Rock Speedway), it looked
like a pretty sure wrap on the 2007 NYMM Championship.
After a disappointing finish in Friday nights A-Main, and
a DNF in the final heat of 2007 young Morgan found himself
still in first, just 1 point ahead of father Timex. Having
to start in the back of the field he wasn't going to give
up with out a fight. He would pull with in 2 spots of
"Dad" but on the last lap his car would call it quits for
him on the 2007 season. But with
every end comes a new beginning, and the beginning will
start next weekend April 12th as the NYMM Series begins
its 2008 campaign where they left off, the Black Rock
Speedway. Young Morgan will have to be quick to dial back
in his 2007 Lafler Chassis that took him to the winners
circle a season leading 7 times in 2007. Morgan has been
working hard over the winter, shedding some pounds and
getting in to great race shape. The soon to be 17 year old
Morgan will look to only improve on his junior year NYMM
Series campaign. How do you improve on 7 feature wins, and
