2008 SEASON PREVIEW - TIMEX MORGAN
THE HARDEST PART OF WINNING IT, IS DEFENDING IT
Exactly what the 2007 NYMM Series Champion Timex Morgan will have to do in 2008, defend his title. With only 1 Tour win to his name in 2007, Morgan relied on consistent top 5 finishes and a little luck. No stranger to Championships, Timex had already captured 2 Track Championships since 2004 and lost the inaugural 2005 NYMM Series Championship on the last lap of the last race. Race day maturity as well as some big help from his crew all season long gave Timex a chance late in the season after a poor (by Timex standards) start to 2007.

Timex hasn't stopped racing since capturing the 2007 title as he switched from the dirt and sun to the lights and asphalt of indoor racing at some of the area's biggest events. Timex placed well at the Fort Wayne Rumble and has really put himself on the map racing indoors at the new dirt indoor facility Mototown USA 5 hours away in Connecticut. The 1/4 mile dirt track has given Timex a chance to keep his racing skills up with out the long travels to Florida and the Carolina's. Will it pay off in 2008? There will be 23 other drivers on the track every night hoping otherwise.
